Managing your repeat prescriptions just got easier with our Repeat Dispensing Service!
This NHS service allows your doctor to authorize multiple prescriptions at once, so you can collect your medication at regular intervals from our pharmacy without needing a new prescription each time.
How Repeat Dispensing Works
- Doctor's Authorization: Your doctor issues a batch of prescriptions for your regular medication, valid for up to a year.
- Pharmacy Dispenses: We'll keep your prescriptions on file and dispense your medication at the intervals specified by your doctor.
- Easy Collection: We kindly ask that you submit your request for a repeat dispensing prescription 48 hours in advance. You can request your prescription by phone or by email, and it will be ready for collection within the specified timeframe.
‘SMS’ Service: You will receive an ‘SMS’ notification when your prescription is ready for collection. If you wish to nominate this service, please speak to a member of staff.
Electronic Repeat Dispensing (eRD): Even Easier!
We also offer Electronic Repeat Dispensing (eRD), where your repeat prescriptions are sent to us electronically. This further simplifies the process, making it even more convenient for you to manage your medication.
Important Note: If your medication changes, you experience any side effects, or your condition isn’t well-controlled, please speak to your doctor or pharmacist.
